As a Verizon-certified Independent Testing Laboratory for NEBS, MET provides fully upgraded flame test capabilities to VZ TPR 9305 Verizon requirements, in our Baltimore and California facilities. Our flame test facilities incorporate wide-angle photo lenses with the ability to view a 9-foot-high, six-frame-wide bay of equipment. Radiant heat sensors and thermocouple mounting assure precision and repeatability. Our heavy-duty flame-proof overhead cable tray accurately simulates central office cable configurations.

MET also has an separate flame testing facility for PV modules, built to meet specs cited in IEC 61646 and IEC 61215 2nd edition, as well as UL 1703.
