Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) Testing

In as early as 2003, Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) requirements for WLAN devices operating in the 5GHz spectrum have been mandatory in most European communities. In 2006, the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) mandated all USA bound products operating in the 5GHz spectrum implement DFS. Various other countries have since implemented DFS requirements. Since its inception the scope of the DFS requirements has evolved immensely, thus requiring manufacturers of WLAN devices to be proactive to meet the challenging requirements.

From the onset of the DFS requirements, MET Laboratories has been performing DFS testing on a variety of products for a wide range of manufacturers. In keeping up with the DFS requirements, MET has continued to offer its clients unparalleled testing capacities for all DFS regulated markets.
