Design for FCC Compliance: Overcoming Wireless, RF, and IoT Design and Test Challenges:
The FCC CFR Title 47 requires you to understand how your device is classified by the FCC in order to select the appropriate equipment authorization methods to prove compliance. In this presentation, you’ll learn how to properly identify applicable requirements, implement compliant modular wireless integration, and obtain wireless/rf type approvals as it applies to your product and target market or region.

Design for Product Safety Compliance
In this presentation you’ll learn industry best practices in planning for Product Safety testing early in the design phase of product development, processes for testing/certification, component & supplier selection, product markings & documentation. Topics include Product Safety Design Considerations, Selecting Proper Components, Conditions of Acceptability, Product Markings & Documentation, and Hazard Based Safety Engineering.

Package Testing
In this presentation, you’ll learn about designing and testing packaging to ensure product survival during shipping and transportation. We’ll review the ISTA packaging standards, in addition to teaching you best practices to meet retailer requirements or independent packaging verification by considering protection from impact, vibration, and other climatic conditions commonly experienced during shipping.

Tailoring Design to Environmental Conditions: Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT)
Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) is a form of environmental testing that combines climatic and dynamic components. It integrates vibration into the chamber environment, where temperature and vibration extremes can also be applied simultaneously. In this presentation you’ll learn critical insights including improving product durability & ruggedness, lowering product’s infant mortality rate, and using HALT/HASS testing to reduce claims under your product warranty.
