Compliance Assistance offered by MET ranges from the free Lunch Time Review to detailed Design Consultation and customized seminars. During the testing, MET routinely offers its expertise in troubleshooting and modifications.

Lunch Time Review
In the free lunch time review, an expert from each testing discipline explains the testing requirements, reviews the product and points out any obvious deficiencies. This is an opportunity for the customer to become fully aware of the test standards to which the product will be subjected. The knowledge gained in this review will usually save the customer time and money during the certification testing.

Compliance Assistance
At MET, we believe in helping customers bring their products into compliance. We routinely provide assistance with standards interpretation, troubleshooting and modifications The expertise that we have gained in performing hundreds of projects will save you time and money. MET maintains an inventory of materials and tools that can be used to bring products into compliance. We will always seek out the most cost effective solutions for our customers.

We also review the engineering drawings, prototypes and materials list prior to submitting the product for testing.

This way, the likelihood of costly redesign
can be reduced.

Design Assistance
We can also offer a more comprehensive program of design assistance. Expert engineers from each discipline are available to advise design engineers at any stage from initial design to prototype development to preliminary testing. This can occur at the customer facility or at MET. For certification purposes, MET maintains a limited firewall between engineers performing assistance and engineers performing certification testing.
