Fiber Optic Testing
MET is one of the few laboratories on the east coast approved by Defense Center Supply Columbus to perform testing and qualification of fiber optic components for military applications.
MET Labs is the obvious choice for MIL-STD testing because of the following unique features:
- Close proximity to the main military and government organizations and contractors such as Navy, NASA, John Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, etc.
- Expert engineering staff
- Millions of dollars worth of state of the art fiber optic component
test and measurement equipment
- Large, environmentally controlled laboratory space
| Some of the standards which MET employs for DSCC fiber optic component testing include: |
| |
|
|
| MIL-PRF-24623 |
|
Splice, Fiber Optic Cable |
| MIL-PRF-28876 |
