Environmental Simulation
Complete 810 Testing

Extreme conditions including rain, wind, salt spray, blowing sand and dust, altitude, explosive atmosphere, solar radiaiton, fungus and much more.

Vibration capabilities:
35,000 force/lbs,
0.1 Hz to 500 Hz
5 Hz to 3000 Hz
and test up to 4 tons.

Temperature ranges from
-70°C to 500°C.
Humidity ranges from 5 to 100 percent.

MET performs temperature, humidity, altitude, and vibration testing simultaneously.

Testing is automated through computer controlled systems to maximize accuracy and repeatability. MET has many environmental chambers including large walk-in chambers and several vibration exciters.

EMC testing per:

  • MIL-STD-461 / 462 Requirements for the Control of Electromagnetic Interference Emissions and Susceptibility
  • RS105, RS103 in excess of 200 V/m from 10K-18 GHz
  • RE102 up to 18 Ghz
  • MIL-STD-1399
  • MIL-STD-704
  • MIL-STD-28876
  • IEEE 299
  • RTCA/DO-160
  • Airbus/RTCA Section 16
  • Special NASA DoD standards

MET Labs in Union City, CA and Baltimore, MD performs 200 V/m Radiated Immunity test requirements per MIL-STD-461 and RTCA DO-160 in house.

MET has designed and constructed custom Hemholtz Coils for magnetic immunity testing. The new system is capable of generating magnetic fields from DC to 100kHz in excess of 180 dBpT.
These fields exceed requirements for Army/Navy RS101, DoD-STD 1399 (pt.070), RTCA DO-160 and various ANSI and European specifications. MET performs antenna testing to MIL-STD-461: CE106, CS103, CS104, CS105 and RE103.

MET can be your resource for COTS testing.
